Day 1: Marrakech to Ouarzazate
Departure from your hotel; and heading South East to the High Atlas Mountains . After crossing the highest pass (Tichka pass , 2260 m); we will drive down hills, straight to Ait benhaddou(UNESCO world heritage since 1987). We will pause here; have lunch in one of its nicest restaurants built overlooking the Kasbah. A walk through the village must be interesting; and discover the history of this ksar.
The site would have been between one of the many outlets of the commercial route connecting Sahara Africa and Marrakech.
Late afternoon; we drive to Ouarzazate (movie city, offten called: Hollywood of Africa). Visit one of the oldest buildings in the region (Taourirt Kasbah). Overnight in a Hotel or Riad.
Day 2: Ouzoud(waterfalls) to Fès
Today, we drive East through the route of a thousand kasbahs. We will probably cross Roses valley(kelaa M’gouna) where Morocco’s most celebrated Roses used for making rosewater; held every May each year. Getting to Tinghir; known for its beautiful Todra valley which leads us to the Todra gorges; where you will be surprised by its cliffs reaching 300 m in some places.
Visit and have plenty pictures; while walking along the gorges animated by a natural spring that transformed this place in heaven on earth. We will spend less time here; and then continue our way to Merzouga (Erg chebbi sand dunes).
A ride on a camel would be arranged; which take you to the camp. At night, the evening meal will be served to you under starry sky; while the local Berber nomads playing on their drums.
Day 3: Merzouga to Fes
Don’t miss sunrise, have your breakfast, then get on the camel to ride back to the hotel. A quick shower is highly possible, before you leaving the desert.
Your next destination is Fès; through the city of Errachidia where you will be greeted by an amazing oasis (Ziz valley). Getting to Midelt (apple town) where we will pause; and have lunch. Late afternoon we continue our way; and passing through Azrou forest which is home to an impressive range of birds and wild monkeys (Macaques). Next city must be Ifrane; known for heavy snowfalls during winter months; it often called the Moroccan Switzerland. Your trip will end with a drop off at your hotel/riad in Fes.

• Jeans for camel ride (shorts & skirts are not recommended, as the camel saddles are itchy, and it can cause skin irritation)
